Dale Chihuly #13 Riding Cloak - Voyager Artist Series
Want to stand out in a crowd? This piece will make you stand out in a stadium.
Why? Well, according to Pendleton, the Dale Chihuly No. 13 Riding Cloak is;
“... limited-edition work of art, created in collaboration with world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly. This exclusive wool blanket is inspired by Chihuly’s unique glass art, and expertly dyed, woven and hand-finished in our Northwest mills. Only 250 blankets have been made in this style, and each features a signature patch with series number and includes a certificate of authenticity.”
Made from blanket #240 of 250, the cloak is framed in wonderfully dense eco-tanned Australian sheepskin to keep out the cold. Along the edge we have hand picked, exquisitely soft, black elk leather trim accented with contrasting red stitching. And the toggle. The toggle. The toggle is hand blown glass created especially by a Virginia artist earlier this year.
It's not just a cloak that keeps out the cold, it's a cloak that catches the eye, turns the head, stops them dead in their tracks.
It's breathtaking. Stunning. A truly one of a kind statement that's sure to keep you warm on a cold Tahoe night.
